مصنف ایک بہت ہی دلکش استعارہ پیش کرتے ہیں: وہ لوگ جو دنیا اور آخرة (Afterlife) میں عزت کے اعلیٰ مقام کے خواہاں ہیں اور جنہیں سفرِ آخرت کے لیے زادِ راہ کی ضرورت ہے، ان کے لیے نبی کریم ﷺ کی صفات ایک قیمتی ہار کی طرح ہیں۔

يقدم لنا المؤلف استعارة بليغة: فمن كان يسعى لنيل أسمى مراتب الشرف في الدارين، ويحتاج إلى زاد للسفر إلى الآخرة، فإن شمائل النبي ﷺ هي "العقد" الذي يتزين به.
"فخذ من هذا العقد قطعًا من ذهب أو فضة أو زمرد."
من خلال تعلم هذه الأخلاق (character) والتحلي بها، فإنك في الحقيقة تجمع جواهر ثمينة. ففي وقت الرخاء، تكون هذه الصفات لك زينة (adornment) تجمّل بها حالك، وفي وقت الشدة تكون لك زادًا (provision) تعينك وتمنحك القوة الروحية المطلوبة للوصول إلى أعلى درجات الشرف في الآخرة.
